Evergreen, Semi-evergreen Perennial, Tender Perennial
Angel Wings Senecio is an outstanding foliage accent—bright, silvery-white, fuzzy leaves demand your attention. Yet the foliage color is also extremely flexible and looks great in a variety of color schemes . Cool it down by pairing it with blue foliage and pastel flowers. Heat it up by combining it with fiery coral, warm red, and/or zippy yellow foliage and flower. Or create an ultra-modern ground cover by planting it en masses with black mondo grass. Be warned, it is a tender perennial and will likely be an annual in cold areas. Though in mild climates, it may winter over for you as it did for me in my Portland, Oregon (USDA Zone 8) garden the winter of 2019/2020. Wonderful in containers. Quick growing, drought-tolerant, and just plain fun to grow. It's good one!
