Sambucus nigra 'Eva'

Black Lace™ Purple Cutleaf Elderberry

Deciduous Shrub, Tree

In early summer, pink flowers look spectacular against finely cut, dark purple foliage. This deciduous shrub looks good spring to fall and is easy to grow! When it was first introduced, its smaller size was a touted feature. As it turns out, this is a relatively fast growing shrub and in Pacific Northwest gardens it's exceeding its initially forecasted size so give it some room. A "Great Plant Pick" for the Pacific Northwest!
