A compact and tidy variety of heavenly bamboo. New growth of the finely textured, evergreen foliage of Nandina domestica 'Monfar' Sienna Sunrise is rich red, with an intensity that calms somewhat in summer, but heats up again in fall and winter. Grown almost exclusively for its foliage, it rarely flowers.
