Farfugium japonicum var. giganteum

Herbaceous Perennial, Tender Perennial

Gigantic, round leaves of glossy green hover atop tall stems and the overall effect is exotic, tropical and fun. Wonderful displayed in a container where its curious form and fantastic foliage can be appreciated. Further, when grown in a container it's easier to move to a protected spot when winter temps dip too low—it's somewhat tender, being hardy only to zone 8.
