After flowering, shear back the plant to encourage additional blooming. It thrives in lightly alkaline, fertile, light, and fast-draining soil. Dianthus deltoides ‘Flashing Light’ is suitable for rock gardens, edgings, and as groundcover. Once established, provide low to moderate watering.
