Deciduous Shrub, Tree
Burgundy Jewel is an excellent selection of our native vine maple with leaves that retain their burgundy color well into summer, especially when grown in sun. The show continues in fall with a second round of color, ranging from brilliant orange to scarlet red. Slow-growing and compact, it's well suited to small gardens, or can be grown in a container.
