As much as we tout "all-season" appeal, who can resist Julia; a show off with big, blowzy blooms in spring, shouting "look at me." She does have the decency to dress herself in respectably attractive green foliage for the rest of the summer, forming a rounded mound that is quite tidy after dead heading spent blooms. Heuchera 'Mahogany' with its evergreen foliage provides a color echo during bloom and a nice partner to Moon Frost Canadian hemlock year-round.
