Vivid in coloring and heady with fragrance, this planting combination suggests a touch of the exotic and it screams SUMMER!
We believe this is Lilium 'Scheherazade', a summer blooming orienpet lily with wonderful fragrance, though there's a chance that it's a different variety; perhaps Lilium 'Leslie Woodriff'. No matter, they're both wonderful and either would work great. We're not sure which red dahlia this is, but any number of wonderful varieties exist that would pair nicely with this planting combination. One to consider is Dahlia 'Loverboy' — its flower shape is slightly different, but the coloring looks pretty close.
Unified by a continuing thread of color, the rich red tones of this vignette hold up to the harsh light of high summer. This plant combo needs full sun, rich, well-draining soil and average water to do well in your garden.
